Danny King initially launched The King Bulletin over at Blogspot, where almost all of this site’s most ancient archives can still be found — though he’d like to warn you that, having started out writing about film as nothing but a teenage kid on his computer, some of the writing taking place in the site’s earliest annals may seem shoddy. But he likes to think that, over time, both the quality of his writing and his knowledge of film — thanks, no doubt, to the increasing volume of his formal education in both areas — have noticeably improved. And he’d say that the launch of this independent domain in July 2010 — thanks, in most part, to the technical wizardry of the web-designing duo behind the popular Nolan Fans website — marks the inception (no Christopher Nolan-related pun intended) of new ground in his career that will hopefully lead to the bright pastures of the film industry.
Danny is currently a freshman majoring in Cinema Studies at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. He has also taken film-related courses through UCLA and Columbia College Chicago. In addition to his blogging work here, he also contributes regularly — as a news writer, film reviewer, and Oscar prognosticator — to the widely-read The Film Stage.
