It’s only about a month now until David Cronenberg’s Cosmopolis hits domestic theaters — courtesy of eONE Films — and Apple has brought the heavily divisive Cannes-debuter back into consciousness with a new trailer. It’s probably the weakest preview I’ve seen for the film so far, taking a mostly talky approach as opposed to the more effective image-driven glimpses we’ve already been greeted with. I wasn’t sure about taking in Don DeLillo’s novel beforehand, but considering the verbiage on display here, it could be an interesting thing to do. We’ll see.
