On the heels of completing my Top 10 list on Monday, I’ve decided to now offer up my hypothetical Oscar ballot for the 2011 year in film. I’ve also underlined the specific nominees that, if the world operated according to my frequency, would walk away with Oscar statuettes at the end of the day. I went ahead, too, and added my six-through-ten choices (in alphabetical order) in some of the categories where I just couldn’t help myself. And one more note: I felt ill-prepared for compiling a full list of nominees for a handful of categories at the bottom of the list — Best Documentary, Best Foreign Film, etc. — so I resorted in each field to merely crowning my personal winner.
More end-of-the-year madness to come, by the way, over the next few days.
