Apple has debuted the trailer for Kelly Reichardt’s Meek’s Cutoff, which will begin its theatrical release on April 8. Reichardt, you’ll recall, directed Michelle Williams in the absorbing Wendy and Lucy. This time around, though, Williams will be sharing the screen with the likes of Paul Dano, Bruce Greenwood, and Shirley Henderson. Thanks to a minor spoiler warning from In Contention‘s Guy Lodge, I have refrained from watching the trailer, but I have posted the embed after the jump regardless. The wonderful Williams also has two more projects on her 2011 slate: Simon Curtis’ My Week with Marilyn and Sarah Polley’s Take This Waltz.

This had a very interesting look to it, the light and the quality of picture was different. It looks very real, like a documentary.
